Helen Giss, founder and managing director of Asian Cajun, is a native of Chicago, who moved to Hong Kong by way of Louisiana. After moving to Hong Kong she immediately began entertaining friends, family, and her husband’s business associates who traveled to the city to experience the shopper’s paradise and culinary traditions of the East. Helen realized that there was a need in Hong Kong to provide services to the sophisticated traveler. She started Asian Cajun to meet those needs and word grew quickly that Helen knew Hong Kong inside and out.

The company has served business and leisure travelers since the early 1980s. Her clients are diverse and include not only some of the largest financial institutions in the United States, but also individuals looking for a personal guide for shopping and excursions.
